How many years have you coached softball or other sports?: 2 Years.
What sports have you played in the past?: Basketball, Cross-Country and Softball.
What do you like the most about coaching softball?: I love being able to teach the girls the fundamentals of softball and watching them grow as softball players. I also enjoy teaching them the importance of not only being a good softball player but being a good person too.
What are some of the goals, ambitions and drive for progression of the team and athletes?: This year, I want the girls to be more aggressive, be more confident, and give 110% on and off the field each and every day!
How do you describe the word "Team" and it's importance in the game of Softball?:
A *team* is a group of individuals working together toward a common goal, with each member contributing their unique skills to achieve success.
In the context of softball, a team is made up of players who collaborate both offensively and defensively in order to win games. This involves strategic teamwork, communication, and support of each girl during every play and challenging moment.
Softball requires players to trust one another, share responsibilities, and foster a strong sense of unity on and off the field.
If our team works as a true team this year, these girls will go far as softball players and as individuals working to be the best they can be.
